Danza Mundial e.V.
presents
Dance With Friends
a special project for children and young dance students from varios European countries.
The Idea
Young people that enjoy dance and that have qualified for the „Concurso mundial de danza - World Dance Contest“ shall receive an additional suppVenue in their favourite genre of dance. In addition this project shall help young people to meet dancers from other countries and culture and shall thus make friends through the medium of dance and without any language problems.

How it will take place
The project will start end of June 2022 during the World Dance Contests, which will take place 25. 6. to 2. 7. 2022 in Villach, Austria. Young dancers who are interested may register in advance.
There will be two age groups
A) Children up to 14 years of age
B) Yound dance students up to 18 years of age
The project offers the following genres of dance in both age categories A and B
• Classical Ballet (girls in B should be able to dance on point)
• National and Folklore Dance
• Show Dance
• Hip Hop
• Song and Dance
In each genre a maximum of 25 participants will be admitted. Each participant has to decide in which genre he or she wants to perform.
On three days in secquence the dancers will receive 90 minutes dance classes in their genre in which they will learn a dance of about 3 minutes length. At the Grand Final in Villach the dancers may perform this dance publicly.
If our budget should permit it we might invite the dancers for further shows some time in the months to follow. But this is not definite yet. It would be an additional suppVenue for the dancers.
