Egypt National Qualifier
Rules & Regulations
Participation & Qualification
The Egyptian qualifier is open to dancers up to the age of 30 (as of January 1, 2026). The top three ranked dances in each style and class will qualify to represent Egypt at the World Dance Contest Finals.
World Finals Date: June 25-30, 2026 in Ljublijana, Slovenia.
Dance Styles
- B: Ballet
- N: National & Folkloric Dance
- F: Free Dance
- M: Modern & Contemporary
- W: Jazz & Show Dance
- H: Hip-Hop & Street Dance
- A: Acro Dance
- V: Song and Dance
Age Divisions
- Mini: up to 9 years
- Children (K): up to 13 years
- Junior (J): up to 17 years
- Senior (A): up to 25 years
In duets/trios, quartets, and groups, the age division is determined by the oldest participant.
Dance Durations
Mini & Children:
- Solo & Duet/Trio: 2:00 min
- Small Groups: 2:30 min
- Formations: 3:00 min
Junior & Senior:
- Solo & Duet/Trio: 2:00 min
- Small Groups: 3:00 min
- Formations: 3:30 min
Fees & Membership
Qualifier Entry Fees:
- Solo:
- Duet/Trio: per dancer
- Group: per dancer
A mandatory 10 EUR Danza Mundial membership fee per dancer is required and must be paid with the entry fee.
Judging Criteria
An international panel of judges will score each performance out of a maximum of 100 points based on:
- Technique: 20 points
- Performance Quality: 20 points
- Musicality: 20 points
- Choreography: 20 points
- Artistry & Interpretation: 20 points
Prizes
Trophies will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class. Every participant receives a certificate with their score and ranking.
